Diverse Learning Environments

2-Day Class
The 2-Day Class meets every Tuesday and Thursday morning from 8:30am- 11:45am. The child must be 3 years old by 3/1/27 and fully potty-trained.
In our 2-day preschool program, we believe that hands-on learning is the best approach. We integrate learning opportunities throughout our day since hands-on learning is both fun and engaging for children. We focus on self-help skills while your child grows both socially and emotionally. We learn what it takes to be a good friend. We work on following simple directions, color, shape, and name recognition. We introduce the letters of the alphabet and work on recognition of the numbers 1-10. There’s lot of songs, fingerplays and opportunities to work on fine and gross motor skills in our two-day class.

3-Day Class
In our 3 day program, sharing and playing together is a key skill. Kids will begin to transition to a more structured daily routine. We work on patterning and sorting too the children focus on reviewing colors and shapes. We introduce letters along with the sounds each letter makes. We work on the recognition of uppercase letters and we practice counting from 1-30. Handwriting becomes an important part of the program as we work on correct pencil grips and tracing skills. Children trace and may begin to write their own name using an initial capital letter. We work on patterning and sorting too. We work on scissor skills and you will see lots of process art projects too. We sprinkle in lots of fingerplays, songs and have time to work on those gross motor skills.
The 3-Day Class meets every Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning from 8:45am- 11:45am. The child must be 3 years old by 9/30/2026 and fully potty-trained.

5-Day Class
The 5-Day Class meets every afternoon from 12:30pm-3:30pm. The child must be 4 years old by 9/30/2026 and fully potty-trained.
In our 5 day class, we strengthen social and emotional skills as we foster a sense of independence. Our main focus is to build the foundation needed for a positive school experience as they get ready for kindergarten. We work on following two and three step directions. and do independent projects built on teacher modeling. We work on writing both their first and last names while strengthening their proper pencil grips. Other skills introduced and reviewed in our 5 day include recognition of upper and lowercase letters, recognizing numbers 1-20, counting 1-100, complex patterns (AB, AAB, ABAB), science exploration, and studying the world around us. We begin to do prewriting skills that involve us “writing” our own stories and sharing them in our author’s chair. As the year goes on, we introduce and build sight words. Learning in the 5 day class is through a hands on and tactile approach. We follow a daily schedule and we do a lot of work in small groups and partner learning.
